Herb's All Natural Turkey's are Fresh and are shipped from Peterson Farm in Iowa.. The USDA requires the Turkey's to be transported at 26° F; never 0°. When we receive the Turkeys at Herb's we place them in our 38° to 40° cooler. We recommend the turkey be picked up on Monday or Tuesday the week of Thanksgiving to allow for ample temper time. Herb's will be closing at 2pm on Wednesday, Nov. 25th and will be closed Thursday and Friday, Nov. 26th and 27th. Herb's will resume regular hours Saturday, Nov. 28th at 9:30am.
Herb's Meats offers the following Turkey size ranges (in lbs):
10-12 12-14 14-16 16-18 18-20 20-22 22-24 24-26 26-28
The formula for the estimating the number of lbs needed is the number of people plus seven.
Herb's also provides prepared Holiday Stuffing, Cranberry Relish, Cranberries, Gravies, and assortment of Pies. We also provide Chesapeake Osysters for stuffing.
